Camp is already paid for; everything else flows through the Venmo pool and trues up after the trip once expenses are loaded. No rafts, no outfitter, no permits — the fire refund nobody asked for. If the math scares you, it shouldn't — Jeff itemizes everything.

How It's Paid

Everyone pays into the shared pool up front via Venmo. Buy something for the group? Load it into the expense sheet and it comes out in the wash. After the trip we true up with a split so nobody's out of pocket.

Payment methods: Venmo @Jeff-Mumford-1 and Cash App $JeffMumford. Group split runs through KittySplit. Deadline for loading expenses is set after the trip — Jeff will nag you.

Getting There & Resources

Do your homework, deckhand
Cottonwood Canyon State Park — the new camp, on Highway 206 between Wasco and Condon
End of the Road Group Camp — reserved Thu Aug 13 → Sun Aug 16, look for the flag
Oregon Waterway Access Permit — only if your inflatable is 10 feet or longer; pool toys are exempt
Weather forecast — canyon rules: hot days, cold nights, pack layers
Directions — I-84 to Biggs or Rufus, then south; roughly 2.5 hours from Portland
